Dog Walker Requirements
- Must be able to handle dogs of all breeds and sizes
- Must be able to stay calm in stressful situations
- Must be fit enough to walk/run for over 45 minutes
- Must have a vehicle to transport dogs
- Must currently own or have at least 3 years experience with dogs
- Must own/have access to a camera or gopro
- Must be willing to learn basic doggy-first-aid
- Must have reputable references on CV
- Must be willing to go for a police clearance certificate
House-Sitter/Boarder Requirements
- Must be flexible in time and areas
- Must be extremely responsible, neat and respectful
- Must have own transport in case of emergency/ or access to dog friendly transport
- Must be willing to learn basic doggy-first-aid
- Must own or have experience with dogs
- Must be able to handle dogs of all breeds and sizes
- Must be capable of recognising an animal in pain or having health issues
- Must have reputable references on CV
- Must be willing to go for a police clearance certificate
Pet Sitters do more than provide fresh food and water for pets. They clean litter boxes and pick up poop, administer medications, bring in the homeowners’ mail, water plants, check the perimeter for safety, as well as some other tasks.
